Welcome to the Department of Education at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Our goal is to achieve a legacy of educational excellence in South Carolina. Currently, we offer a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. The Department of Education is committed to a quality program that foster Constructivist Educators who nurture, communicate, reflect and facilitate/instruct. Teacher education candidates are encouraged to pursue their academic and professional potential through exposure to highly qualified faculty, professional learning environments, and supportive multicultural settings. The faculty and staff seek to accomplish these goals through a strong commitment to teaching, advising, scholarship, and service.
